Eden's heart

"I feel my heart ripping out from inside of my chest" Says Eden,
"Dont worry, you will be healed soon" replies nothingness.
"It has been too long now, if it hasnt already healed, then it never will." Eden says sadly, whilst tears fill her eyes, a single tear runs down her cheek and she curses herself for letting her sadness show to the world, Eden rarely cries, because if she does, she feels like she will never stop.
"Nobody expects for your heart to be whole again" says nothingness.
"I know, but why did it have to break to start with? How can i ever open my heart to somebody when it is already in a million pieces?" Eden weeps.
"Because one day, someone will find your broken pieces and slowly put your heart back together again" Nothingness says, picturing Charlie running all over the place franticaly trying to find pieces of Eden's heart.
"It will never be whole though, not whilst he is not here, and he never will be here, for as long as i live, so therefore won't i always be broken?" asks Eden. He tears are so uncontrolable that her chest is heaving and her ears ring with every sob.
"You may be right Eden, but you will never know if you never try, trust that somebody one day will heal you, just believe in me." and with that nothingness fades away, leaving Eden alone.
She opens her eyes "Was it all just a dream?" she says quietly.
"What darling?" replies Charlie, who has been lying next to her the whole time.
"Nothing babe" Eden says, she looks down and realises that his hand is placed protectively over her heart....
